I am sick of waiting.
I need relief, right now.
Novocaine, for a brain on fire
with no faucet, no drops of water
to take out the bleeding, breathing.
My last minute on earth
will be insignificant,
lying on the street
watching footsteps leaving,
sirens screaming,
then laughter
as someone says,
Finally we got him.
