It would be really great
if you were in town
to walk with us,
to honor and
remember
my nephew
Michael Cherry
who sadly
took his life four years ago.
And if you notice a friend is struggling,
you haven’t seen them on Facebook,
or they seem distant, talk to them. remind them they
are loved, they matter,
and things will be alright.
The walk is October 2nd, at Grafton High School.
It is a good distraction from the nightmare
of losing a loved one to suicide.
I will be there
and so will Chad thank You my friend)
and my family.
The day will be nice,
not a cloud in the sky.
If you are with family tonight,
hold them tight.
If you have your loved one by your side,
hold them close,
and let them know they matter,
they are loved,
and things will be alright.
Don’t let this world take
another life
or yours.
It’s going to be alright.
Even if you have to remind yourself
that it will be alright
’cause it will.
My hope is that things will be alright,
especially for
you.
