Or: Where Is Bugs Bunny
In the Age of the Troll-Gremlins

My right big toe wakes me early with splitting pain
And as the throbbing ache persists so does the strain
Of the war on that tired old A.M. T.V. blinking screen
This not so cold war makes my old cold war brain keen

I’ve seen this horror movie too many times before
And even after I finally find the long lost medicine for
My gout that surging old global inflammatory dis-ease
Of burning nuclear holocaust can’t Munich appease

The madness of what too much power can do to men
Because I’m so way back in 1962, planes in the air again.
