The Apocalypse is upon us
the vortex brings all the debris
to the convulsed center and all
they can think to do is again
double down on failed policy
so deep in the ever eroding rut
they never can manage to see
out and notice what’s going on
around us everywhere the old
no longer makes any wane sense
while the pandemic just proved
any human with their computer
can do valuable work anywhere
and be simultaneously connected
to the global information system
so history becomes this fine grain
of our families the new close clans
the human biosphere just there waits
to liberate the planet’s biosphere Eden
the rights of rivers, great plains and
mighty forests that will prosper us
and clean the once polluted Earth
systems to sequester the last centuries
of carbon back into deep rich organic
soil with only this prim paltry thing
private property barring the open door
the very threshold of new Common LIFE
