Supposedly when the British at Yorktown marched
out to surrender to the Revolution (combined forces
of French and Geo. Washington’s Continental Army)
the fife and drum corps played this old song from the
English Civil War about when Cromwell in protestant
fervor canceled Christmas and here we are now again
with Thanksgiving almost on us and Agent Orange Head
still in White House (of course) still maintaining he won
the election he lost and the whole Republican Party just
continues to echo chamber those delusions and the cult
of MAGA bubbling conspiracy stew of hate and contrived
grievance dwindling minority rule congeals into a march
on the capitol their party has controlled the last 25 years
since the “Newt” did his contract on America 1994 when
the current ongoing crisis long already apparent (if only to
nut cases like myself) but quite real nonetheless everyone
still thought why not “go along to get along” go-go times get
get get as neo-liberalism was getting the formerly USSR as
it was sold off to the “oligarchs” shock therapy straight from
Chicago School by way of Harvard vintage neo-colonial theft
of the people as now it’s all come home in the form of minority
rule oppressors and their Quisling enablers of token resistance.
