Like expressionist theater wild flower
unfolding in the midst World War I
early 20th century industrial scale slaughter
Chelsea Manning just can’t and won’t quit
locked up again for refusing to testify
to medieval style grand jury in Virginia
against Julian Assange for publishing
Iraq/Afghanistan war logs records
of U.S. ruling class litany of war crimes
she may be our only last chance warning
she keeps on saying no, no, no way
this information warrior
in forever information war
her solitary confinements scream at us
through all the shatter proof glass
over these thick concrete walls
out gates and piercing security checkpoints
avoiding the traps and succession of lock downs
barred opaque closed windows
she won’t go away cannot even be put away
she just is CHELSEA
