Central government lobotomized screw driver
in frontal lobe half a century of funda-mentalism
faith-based market modeled probe to dementia
spreads spidery plaque garbled twisted networks
monopoly of surveillance mass misinformation
generates paranoia conspiracy theory in tin hat
old rabbit eared antennae big blinking broadcast
meme mind meld most manipulated populace
hysteria of Twenty First Century digital last daze
no tic toc tic with your glowing electronic watch
all along the lonely watch towers they slow walk
panopticon circling out circle upon this other circle
it’s exactly like the old Cretan myth of labyrinth
we’re down here in the ear world underground
if only we could activate or rather get in touchy
feely with our previously unknown human sense
of the spinning electro-magnetic iron core Earth
and in midst pandemic shut down finally real feel
how connected we’ve always been so that right now
I have to go out to help a friend and I’m still ready
to fill out a form if need be if only I can get from here
                                 to there
