Oddball Magazine is happy to sponsor and promote Into Your Art’s Live Art Event happening November 7 at Hibernian Hall in Roxbury. Join us for a wonderful night celebrating the brightest of Boston. For the next two weeks, we are introducing you to the electrifying performers that are going to bless the stage two weeks from now. Visit the event’s Facebook page for further information.

David Wylen is a Boston-born poet, rapper, percussionist, and equal rights activist. He has opened up for acts including Talib Kweli, The Ying Yang Twins, Cam’ron, Mobb Deep, Freeway, Lloyd Banks of G-Unit, Phil Flowers, Skip Martin of Kool & The Gang, Raekwon of The Wu Tang Clan, and KRS-One. Wylen involves himself in the arts because he has learned how they allow messages to be portrayed and understood across cultures — subsequently being and creating means of communication for universal connection and improvement. Handling Tourette’s Syndrome, and persevering through ignorant judgment, David Wylen has been humbled, and feels the need to use his abilities with the arts to vividly express the right, and how it feels better to hug than to push away.
