Gender Equality
Who’d understand
Your sense
Of equality
Better
Than over
Fifty Percent
Of the population
Lady Liberty
Somehow
I have turned into
An old Jewish woman
Wearing a black robe
With a jabot
And one heck
Of a collared necklace.
Shadow
in the beginning
there was
no end
our shadow
walked on memory
and ground
stars
the color of angels
weep
Stand
After P. Celan
To stand in your shadow
The sky still up in the air
The facts clearly stated
To stand for us, for all
Those once unrecognized
Seen by you alone
With all those unsaid words
Finally justice
Found a voice
