Michael P. Glover grew up in north Alabama riding BMX trails, watching Saturday morning cartoons, and building model cars as a kid. From a young age, he acutely recorded childhood moments by analyzing the colorful characters and events that surrounded him. He spent his undergraduate years at Harding University, earning a BS in Graphic Design. After taking a trip to Europe after graduation and taking time off, he eventually enrolled at the New York Academy of Art, earning an MFA in Figurative Painting. His passion for painting and drawing naturally merged with his love for pen & ink as he became focused on illustrated novels and sequential storytelling. His inspiration is derived from a deep well of childhood memories and the people and places that shaped his life. He works as a freelance artist/designer and adjunct Art History Instructor, and lives in the Hudson Valley region of New York with his wife, daughter, and their rescue terrier.
