Wonder how many people
open their conversations with God
using a line like
“Its me again” or “Guess what?”
which are followed by updates/modifications
to a previous prayer.

Can we say anything to God?
Do we censor?
I mean we are talking to God about God!
Do we say “thank you” enough?
Do we edit/rewrite our requests to God
the day after?

Do we prepay or pay upon delivery?
And what about those unexpected shipping costs?
Are we trying to apply an outdated credit
to yesterday’s prayer because it was unanswered?

Do we renegotiate based upon some absurd
quality control issues?
And who has the authority
to move the issue/request
from God’s ears to customer service?

Now imagine or not, God’s possible replies:
“Sure tell me anything.”
“Who do think you are talking to?”
“Say what?!?
