November 4, 2014. I am so disgusted with the Democratic Party, I do not know if I can write this column. My anger and disappointment make focus impossible.

I am I a registered Democrat but I never had complete faith in the Party. The Democrats made lots of promises; some years they made good on some promises, other years not so.

I was excited and proud when Obama became President. His election increased my faith in the Party and the country. But now I am wary and weary of the Democrat chatter from politicians and the civilians.

I want to walk away from all of them, the way they have walked away from President Obama.

I am surprised and then not surprised how quickly the Democratic candidates in the 2014 elections distanced themselves from the President. When things got tough they just passed the buck and possibly broke world records in the “jump ship’” marathon.

But then again, they never offered the President their loyalty or respect.

I do not think the Party candidates will ever understand how their own betrayals and weaknesses undermined their performance in their respective elections.

The Democrats has proven to be as effective in watching the President’s back as the Secret Service.

But let me be clear, I am in no way encouraging people to join the Republican Party. I am just saying that Barack Obama and the First Family deserve better than what the Democratic Party has to offer.
