That Mix of Bad Manners and Big Egos
Rare occasion. Prima Donna
has called a meeting,
summoning her followers,
the little people
who eagerly await
the opportunities
to be beckoned,
to serve her.
Sadly, she can not
recall their names,
but they don’t
seem to mind.
Any bit of attention
from Her Majesty
creates instant
willingness
to abandoned their
lives and families
for the opportunity
to serve her,
to exist for a moment
in her shadow
even when she
lacks the knowledge,
time and concern
to recall who they are
and what they do
to serve her,
unaware her powers
are limited,
that she can only
cast shadows,
which provide
the best
stage and
lighting
for tonight’s
episode
of “As the Prima
Donna Turns.”
