At this hour, the only outside sounds are
those provided by sporadic street traffic.
Thus far, folks seem to be abiding by “rules”
and reminder signs posted almost everywhere.

Somewhere a dog is barking, kids are playing in school yards and planes are arriving and departing from the local airport “on schedule!”

And according to this morning’s weather report, we can also expect bright sun shine but cold temps with occasional colder winds that MAY scatter the stuff that escaped from overfilled dumpsters and garbage cans full of whatever destined for wherever.

Then despite the bitter winds and low temps, we find ourselves recanting our favorite versions of our daily mantra that we are another day closer to spring.
