The rope was connected to the tree branch
by a carefully hand-tied knot made by the same “man”
who then connected the rope to the neck
of a human being: a man or woman or child
who was mounted on a horse
which was struck with a branch chosen
by the same or another “man” …
After all, they all look the same
under the white robes and hoods.
Simultaneously the alarm sounded,
the cries of the dead and their loved ones filled the air
alerting the world too late, escapees from HELL had stuck again…
