It is amazing
how our bodies
can adapt.

Most times
faster than
we realize.

I was
back home
in no time.

Didn’t have
a moment
to grasp

the wonder
of a miracle
that would

allow me
to move
through life

with more ease,
confidence
and joy.

I thank God
for moving us
to possibilities

we might
have missed
if we ever

gave in to
fears, doubts,
insecurities.

Now, gifted
with awareness
and spirit,

I prepare to
embrace life
with more

love, care,
determination
and joy.

Forgiveness
will be
a struggle

as I recall
the warnings
of ancestors.

Be wary:
forgiving
and trusting

are not fruits
born from
the same tree.
