Fate is underrated.
So many options presented,
but there are also
many undercurrents.

How did we come to choose
the choices made
that would lead us to our
respective journeys?

And what of encounters
working to shape
and inspire
each soul’s calling?

See now, decades later
where we be and
what we did, working
with and against our fates.

Despite our wanderings
we found some of the wisest
and kindest beings
on the planet.

Our journeys also
led us to places
of confusion.
Clarity often obscured

in our search to find
the way created
by God, so often revealed
after we were gone.

Behold
the places we visit
and did not
enter,

and still we were able
to live our lives.
Satisfied or not,
we slowly began

to realize
the difference
between being content
and contained.
