I am claiming my space.
You have your stuff all over the place:
couches, tables, lamps; old junk/new junk.
So what’s the big deal about having
some toys, dolls, and crayons
casually scattered about to create
that artsy kid cool lived-in look?

You gave me this room and told me to call it MY ROOM!
My room is designed according to my rules.
We can live in peace or continuous war,
But I am an adorable kid equipped
with healthy lungs and newly charged batteries…
So just…Surrender!
