Never enough paper, canvas, computer memory, ideas, dreams,
Pencils, crayons, musical notes, colors,
To fill blank cement walls, empty skies, wandering clouds, bare pages,
to weave and propel flying carpets into space,
to negotiate peace, give the evil dragons time-outs,
so they may begin again to build cities, feed the people,
so they may hear the music, watch, join into the dance,
pray for a time of peace, joy, humility, comfort
that will then turn into sentences, poetry, music for a new day.
