To see the sea
is to witness
time move.

One day
I will learn
to be patient.

I see myself
wanting to
embrace time,

to be a part of
something other
than myself.

I miss you Mom.
Your laugh,
your words.

I never intended
to be a source
of worry.

I just
wanted
to be me.
