We are the children
of survivors,

descendents from
a people who

fought against
a system designed

to keep us distracted,
worn out and docile.

Don’t be fooled.
This was never

intended to be
the era of equality.

But don’t give up.
Time moves slowly,

and the battle
for equality

does not stop.
It continues.

The Klan will still
keep hoods and robes

in the front
of the closet.

Too many people
still want neighbors

who will look
and think like them!
