The Effortless Struggle

The whole universe
is a bomb
screw the atomics
fire seems more
alive than anything
except the life of the
water used to put
it out
electricity
math
food
no food
extinction
war
depression
other planets
toothache
going bald
diabetes
is it any wonder
we are here thinking
right now?
And happy?
For some it is so.
The rest of us
cower in misery.
