“What is Stranger Than Strange?” © Edward Michael Supranowicz

Back to Normal

I was at my sister’s in Knoxville
daydreaming
that I went back up
to Parkview Place
and when I got to my door
there were all these flowers and candles
in front of it and suddenly it opened
and I walked out
stepping over the flowers and candles
and while he then went to the elevator
I walked to the threshold
and sort of dissolved

and then I heard the microwave ding.
My chicken pot pie was ready.
