He Tortured Me By Singing “Tomorrow”

This Bran Flakes track
is so freakin’ exciting; a fucktillion Concord grape
sodas worth of dusky blue sunsets at a beachside
barbecue with George Harrison doin’ that dance. You know
the one I mean. Kind of like hanging out
with an impossible gay man who will never
be true in any way other than
as himself and who
makes you laugh so hard you almost wet your pants at Denny’s,
three o’clock in the morning sober. It’s what gay men
and ladies do instead of sex.
