Tonight I Hitch My Lines To Stars

Tonight
I hitch
my lines
to stars

I let them
run wild
like ponies
on an open range

dragging
my poems
behind them

tilling the Earth
until it meets
the horizon
and they
rise up

on a ancient trail
of cosmic dust

joining a universal
stampede.
