Bela Lugosi in Purgatory
I am lowered into the grave
Wrapped in slick black silk,
And fermented grain
Is poured over the dirt
Festering, making foul mud.
Clotting,
Like blood.
And from this place I rise;
Stumbling onto the silver screen.
Spotlights!
And stage fog,
Lurking and looming,
Wrapped in slick black silk
