Forty five years
under my belt.

Fell a while,
a long time.

Think of how
it felt.

To be a
zine machine

stone temple
piloted.

Broken in
a zone,

my eyes
dilated.

Writing poetry
Because that’s

where my
freedom lies.

Time left for
one last surprise.

Skies smile like
a rolling tide.

I wander with
a sense of pride.

Feel like an
autographed bat

signed by
an aristocrat.

Drove over
the line

and can’t
come back.

Wondering what
a heart attack

feels like,
hoping I know

what that
pain is.

Because my
heart aches

when I think
of time lost.

Paw Patrol Bandaids.
