If I could control, alt, delete, I would.
Scrap this menacing face.
Scrap these tattooed hands.
Enlist in the army, see what happens.
Learn to play piano
and play for you.

If I could control, alt, delete- I would.
Scrap these clothes.
Scrap this clutter.
If it would let me return to you,
I would.

Shift and escape.
If I had that option,
I would command it like Moses.
Whatever would bring me back to you,
I would do it.
I would find some lingering bravery in me
to tell you that I

just want to come back home
to watch the snow fall.

To watch the snow fall
with you.

If I could control, alt, delete
all the terrible things in this world,

I would.

If I could see past this snow drift.
If I could see past this block.
If I could control, alt delete.
If that was an option,
I would command it like Moses.

If I could, I would.
And I can,
so I will.
