It’s Christmas Time again.
My lovely friend
lent me her pen
to write a story
about hearts of men
like Tupac said.
It’s Christmas time again.

The pen hits like
a Bruce Lee fist,
attacks like a
magician’s heart.
Tick, tick, boom.

The bomb goes off

It’s Christmas Time again.
Deck the halls
and trim the tree,
medicate me
and set me free
with a little melody.
It’s Christmas time again.

This pen was given
by an angel in blue.
An artist in you
gave it to me
in my zoo.

And my artist
in me
blesses
the artist
in you.
It’s Christmas time again.

I can’t even believe
I am psychwarded
this Christmas.

If I had a wish list,
I would want anyone
who is over
to go under
and recover.

For anyone who
is suffering
to find wonder
for anyone drinking
to sober up.

for anyone
smoking
to light it up.

For anyone who
listens to Wu-Tang
to understand
every word
forever.

For Bright Eyes fans
to find their
yellow bird.

For those who
are motherless
to find mothers
and fatherless
to find each other.

And for people
to be peaceful
with the pen
and understand
every stanza
and understand there
are no perimeters
when you are
writing poetry
and to find
their own meaning.

I can’t even believe
I am psychwarded
or Christmas.

If I had a wish list,
I would wish for
liquid acid
to fix this
and mistletoe
instead of missiles
and bomb poet emcees
like LUCCI
to come back home.

It’s been a lot,
and I’m in an AA Zoom meeting.
A patient named Angel freaked.
Outside it’s freezing.
Jesus is the reason
for the season.

Thank God.
I hope you receive him.

Peace on Earth.
Good Will to men –

It’s Christmas Time this morning.
