The rain drops fall on me
and I say Thank you.
Every day we need this rain
to grow.

The sunshine’s on me.
and I say thank you.
Every day does not have to be
so cold.

The river flows near me
and I say Thank you.
The beauty in that
undertow.

To the rocks in the river
I say Thank you.
The rocks that
break the Rivers flow.

The thunder rolls,
the lightning strikes
and I say Thank you

to the house that keeps
my daughter safe and sound.
