Notorious wind,
colder than cold,
January days
in Boston.
Sun shines down
from pale blue sky,
but the winds
are bitter cold,
stronger than
strong and
fiercely
stubborn,
creating
slick layers
of ice on uneven
city sidewalks.
I am
not
pleased
at all!
My inner child
continues
to rant
and impatiently
counts down
until
spring’s
arrival.
