Each new generation will leave
behind a few of those
who could keep up

and gladly shed
the excess weight
of those who could not be

faster,
richer,
or younger.

The plan being that most
of the evidence provided
by preceding generations

would be erased
reduced
to dust.

And this new generation would
create it’s own story
of this planet’s beginning.

A story which will begin
with children of unknown origins
left along a virtual road,

who boldly declare
that they would rule
their new world

until replaced by
the next generation
which would be replaced

by a newer and
stronger generation
that would rule

via a better generation
of technocrats.
Behold the future!

See humanity vanish
and machines rule
according to the laws

of a capitalist profit/loss
interpretation of the Ten Commandments
authored by artificial intelligence.

Behold, there shall be
no place
for humanity

but to serve beings
which appear human
but with minds of machines.

Can I get an amen!
