You invest lot of energy and time creating this public image of self as a well educated, ole school, savvy sophisticated, likeable, ever-so-cool characterin still another draft of your story. It seems that image is more important to some folks.

You try to hang out with the the right people. Mimic their every move. Drink what they drink, eat what they eat, dress like they dress, talk like they talk, walk like they walk. But still some things do not happen as you expect or want.

So every day you return to where you started, looking in the mirror, staring into your own eyes, practicing the old steps while waiting for new lessons, trying to understand what you have learned and how many times the same lesson will have to be repeated again.
