Waiting impatiently
for spring.
These days of
gray skies and silence
soon to be interrupted
by cars splashing
through street puddles,
occasional bird chatter.
Feel like a kid again.
Waiting impatiently
for sunshine
and recess.
God bless inner kids
wherever you be.
