Who’s in charge of this raging beast
That we’ve unleashed
That can stand no leash
That is here to please
Make a move
Accept my flinch
All to dash to the center of our time’s pinch
Just a slight moment in an expansive universe
A slight moment to indulge in the curse
Of this labyrinth
We’ve created when we found we were magnetic
Attracted to each other with no sense
Drawn to each other like electricity to a fence
Except we didn’t keep out
We trespassed and now think not to pass
On the opportunity of another chance
But don’t know HOW to open the door
Stare at the door
Know what’s on the other side
That raging beast of passion of soul of out of body moments of psychic speak
Of ESP Of tingling Of
RAWNESS
Stare at the door
Look at the keys
Which one will work?
Which one will please?
Easily
Meet me at the entrance
Is the dare
Do you hear my call?
Do you sense my fall?
Crashing down from the wall
I built to keep you out
I jump from that ledge and hope to land in your arms
INSANITY
This insanity suits me
Slays me
I wear it well
I dress lightly for hell
Perhaps a nighty
In which you can seduce me nightly
Lightly
Then passionately accept the nakedness of my soul
Take control
Be controlled
Be alive in the hold
Of two flames creating a fire which should never be put out
Which should never be ignited
We know why we fight it
We know why we like it
Please light it
Because I won’t
I can’t
Control this raging beast
Which lives inside of me
Escaping through my smile my eyes my touch
My mouth my body when you are sensed
I love this madness
I damn this madness
I take this madness and put it to bed
In between my legs
On this madness I rest my head
My heart continues to beat to the sound of your sight
Please just one more night
Of surviving your absence
Please just one more night
Of indulging in your presence
Please beast
Set yourself free
And run forever AWAY FROM ME.
Holding my hand.
