A Time Table

Overusing used up the meeting point which is a
knowledge I can only know now after giving the
gift I wanted to give you three days before I came
to realize the realization that the only real thing to
identify in your identity is a need to nullify my
need to know you better and to never get involved
while still involving myself in a game gone bad
before the band could even play the song you sung
and still sing when you need my attention to keep
you from attending your own funeral.

The real thing to remember is what I remember of
the memories that took us miles of time to tune up
and the celebration we felt when our age became
cerebral and all we needed the whole time was
nothing we needed at all.

Now I don’t need to think about it but I wouldn’t
understand what should be understood without
thinking about you bringing me to where I am
now.
