The Decisive Witch
watched
by night-filled eyes
her feet
held back
by the want
of the winds
still she moves
knowing
the intermittent lack
able to reach
through a trusted light
tight with energy
only to release it
smoothing
the erratic edges
of a stone
the spell
now gone
to its rightful place
like the ink
from quills
to pages of poetry.
