Ex-Wife Material

Me and my desire
are fermenting in my room
I think
the longer you leave me baby
the uglier I will grow
I think I am blooming a small war
where my dignity should lie
I think my apocalypse
is turning you on

 

Adara Schwartz is a writer and poet from London. She has spent the past two years in and out of chronic illness and generally just writing bits while traveling to and from job interviews on the tube. She is signed to Curtis Brown and am working on her first novel.

Kelly Sauvage Moyer is an award-winning poet, photographer and fiber artist, who pursues her muse through New Orleans’s French Quarter. She is the author of four books, including Hushpuppy and Mother Pomegranate and Other Fairytales for Grown-Ups, both released by Nun Prophet Press. She is the editor of Failed Haiku.
