Daybreak to Heartbreak

as dawn breaks

or witness our sunrise.

As we break

Our sunset is on the horizon.

Memories,

sweep tears into

the eyes of those who look on

observing

our exit

And when someone’s sun sets

Memories,

sweep tears into

the eyes of those who look on

observing

our exit

to hibernation.

And fragile

Daybreak or Heartbreak
