It’s All One Thing #584: Up in the Air

Banner design © TJ Edson

We’ve finally got them all in one place: the Zionists and apocalyptic
          theocrats,
the free market fundamentalists and their fossil-fueled flat Earth
          fracked buds,
the shadowy banksters and their dark side generals all so fully
          gathered together
in their ghost dance resurrection of the last counter-revolution, the
          White Army
ready for the final Armageddon battle with the insurgents, the Reds,
          the yellow
peril, the savages and the animals, of course, Life its very self
          all set to be taken,
used, abused, sacrificed to the Holy City on a Hill, actually the
          old White House
(still built by black people) the Republic (not a democracy),
          not the people, those
people so far below on the ground, swirling around are expected
          to watch all them
the craven cabal as if it’s just another crazy conspiracy theory,
          another disturbing
early morning nightmare up in the air, way above them all polar
          vortex from thaw
of North Pole that keeps breaking down and spilling icy blasts
          between unseason-
able warming all down through the center of the continent as more
          and more of us
cling to the coasts sent there from the deep of the far middle
          by mass migrations
of death of whole industries and bitter ends of their way of life
          while perpetrators,
crooks and criminals are way above it all looking down at all of
          us (the U.S.) in a
great grandee ghost dance of military fiscal madness that will never,
          ever in anyway
Make America Great Again (like it ever was?) but we’ve got them all           together again
                                                      in one place.
