There was this woman who was always on a mission. You know, “the annoying kind,” one who could not/would not follow a linear path and asked the questions others avoided.
The woman with an open spirit, boundless energy and endless curiosity. The one with the annoying habit of challenging rules and praying for people on a planet that spins in and out of its orbit when the moon is in its “just because” phases.
That woman, the one others try to silence “for her own good,” and for their convenience. The one who always asked the questions no one could or would answer.
Where did she go? That woman who always prayed for the beings here and the residents residing on planets far, far away. When did she start singing the blues and wallowing in self pity? When did that seductive exercise become a dangerous habit?
When and why did she change? Somewhere, somehow, she went from being a woman with a mission to a shadow looking for a corner to hide. When did she choose to settle for existing on limited options in a place where conformity was defined as a goal, a mission?
Where did she go? Why did she leave? When did she leave? Why do dreamers always leave? And why are we always baffled when things always seem to stay the same?
