Bamboozled No More! Urban Canvas

Freshly poured
gray cement squares
intended to be
sidewalk trivia
were mysteriously
transformed into
oversized rectangles
with well worn
pieces of asphalt
later rumored to be
re-reshaped following
today’s afternoon
crazy rain, eventually
repositioned
among the twig.

~~~
It was rumored
that this last
reincarnation
of whatever
was made to
accommodate the
daily reshaping
of twigs and leaves
due to increased
wear and tear of street
and pedestrian traffic.
~~~

Freshly poured
cement sidewalks
appear as
imperfect
backdrops
for wind-blown
inspired abstractions
of trees bent
and leaves spun
in concentric circles
of wild wind.
