Quick with fingers
Slow with the pace
Guy walking in the crowd
Tying up
Pedestrian traffic
Texting or whatever
Hyper focused on the phone screen
In his world there is just him
A world of one.
Beyond his screen
A crowd of people
Places to go
Schedules to keep
Then in a mini moment of sanity
I sigh and smile
Humbled
Remembering how
the distractions
On and off
The little screen
Shape pedestrian traffic.
