Poem by Daniel Loring Keating

To Slay a Merman Merman Merman

azerbaijan
no limits
we’ll be moving again shortly
in increments of violence
in twilight
glen doesn’t have a mission missions mission
ergo lingo flamingo dances
to the beat of its own plumber

conceptualize what’s between your legs
cotton
drinkwater
all the pretty dresses lined up in a row
all the lands sour flower power
if there are pioneers, Pinochets
then glower glower glower

ride back on ride on backs
you must be this high to
engage, so
timid timid timd
where have all the bees gone
where have all the
where have all the people
gone to lunch
