Jagged Thought #220: Day One, Zyprexa

First day back
My mind has gone aloof.
Every word
Means something to me.
I wish it didn’t.

Tomorrow I am going to try to
Get back
On those meds

The ones that i did not love
But loved me.

I hope to sleep well tonight
And not let my demons in.

Last night my mind
Said something
To me.

It scared the shit out of me.

I want to live
Love and work

Not this nightly give and take
Of sanity and sake.

Not forsaken
Not forgotten.

Just different now.
I guess it’s a bakers dozen.
And I only have so many eggs to

I will beat this.
Walk through the haunted halls
Of each psyche ward walls.

I can beat this.
I think. Therefore I am.
But I wish I didn’t at all.
