From The Goddess
goddess 1

Long walks and sitting contemplations
burning bridges to the past
You can’t waiver if you can’t cross the divide
You can’t open if the key to the safe is lost

The journey deeper,
treading hurricanes salted waters
The pilgrimages’ discovery
the journey is the destination

Can’t seem to stop burning
the bridges I cross along the night
The girl wasn’t always a warrior of the dark,
but when her better half never came she climbed down her golden locks

Rusted razors the tool for the skinning
shaving her head of lies
and Shouting a quiet whisper
a big FU(Fuck You) to the World

Bare ass exposed to the world,
naked and virgin with feeling
she was penetrable by love
Opened gates standing there with the the hope of the addition of one

Armored guards hired
Ring leaders protecting
The rawness of stone
the little girl who sat at the bottom of her heart

She the martyr and the thief
A prostitute to feelings
Bending forces of nature
So her foundation wouldn’t shift off its axis

Gales broke others
she stood tall
standing above it all
with a smile copy and pasted on her face.

The destruction left scars
An apathetic heart
Deserts with no water
Thirsting for the gift, to feel her heart beat again one day

She wanted to burn
the whole fucker down,
throw her hands in the air, wave the white flag ,
Sending an SOS signaling a surrender through an undeliverable message

The warrior gently
Lit her candle
With the wick of its own
One energy, one flame connected as one spark lights a wild fire in the forest

Arrising from crouching
The feral cat becomes
The lion upon daybreak
Standing with her back to the naysayers and her center to the sun

Strength not in the rigidity
of muscle on our backs
brute shortcomings and
emotional prisons the consequences of lives past

Your heart,
your home
Home for the heart and The heavens the buddhas manifested
Sitting wisdom at the bottom of the bodhi tree our roots rise like warriors of steel
