Flee! Flee! Reality T.V.
Flee! Flee! Reality will get thee
Flee! Flee! It’s T.V. Reality
Oh, no anything but Reality, That T.V. Reality T.V.
Colliding agendas, Alternative screens
Manipulated mosaic of quivering dots
The cosmos reaching out in a beam
The world that lives in our living room
The media that dances in our eyes
The electronic eye that occupies out retina
Holds its ground as a comers come and go
And leaves only the mystery Reality T.V. Reality
This desperate despair-ado Reality, This apocalyptic Reality T.V.
Where peak production occasions invasions and “democracy” and markets,
Open markets become the Reality T.V. we never see
Way out there in left field where everything is wrong!
And we sit in the penalty box whistling the whiners and haters anthem
Global warming is not climate change, the ozone layer is one gone dude
The country not social security is bankrupt or it’s the negative capital flow, Stupid!
If we were Argentina the IMF and World Bank would have shut us down
Before the rigged election we will never see on Reality T.V.
Flee! Flee! Reality T.V. Flee! Flee! Reality will get thee
