Bamboozled No More! Waiting

Humanity, where are you?
I remember feeling you brush by me
Styling my hair
Shaping my thoughts
And despite the layers of clothing finding your way to my soul
I recall our conversations and sometimes debates
You confronted me
You challenged me
We laughed and cussed (most often at each other)
And no matter the cost,
you found a way for us to travel first class with a colorful crowd.
Humanity, where are you?
I miss you
I am waiting, impatiently waiting for your return
