Seven Times #82: River Isolation

The future
We’re living in the future
I’ve seen the future
It is murder
A.I. finger tips slapping a human face
for all eternity
on the railroad tracks
is where I Want to be
time-traveling
across the empty lots
just me
the abandoned leather factories
the stacks of broken bricks
mortar unmurdered
by
the dirty old river
taking me home
Sun shines on us
homeless no more
no more isolation
