Stephen Wright- HIS HOUSE. Stephen Wright is my dad, he is a great poet, and a great humanitarian. He started HIS House in Mansfield Ma., which is an organization that helps the homeless by clothing and feeding them. HIS House is responsible for helping the unfortunate few. I am glad that HIS House is a part of this magazine, I am even happier that he is my dad.

Andrew Borne-Hello, Andrew Borne loves you very much. He lives in Salem Massachusetts, which is where Nathaniel Hawthorne used to live too. Andrew’s favorite writer’s (right now anyways) include Hawthorne, Dickenson, Emerson and many other late 19th century American authors. Andrew believes there is a cosmic battle between good and evil being fought in the physical plane as well as the spiritual plane. Internally he knows that his soul is part of the battle, but he’s not sure of who is winning. Andrew loves water and believes that it is a corporeal representation of the oneness that is the universe, whatever that means. Andrew wants to know what you think about Dr. Bronner’s magical soap box? He also believes that many people are secretly bluer than Krishna and that we are all part of the body of Jesus Christ. Mr. Borne agrees, “how strange it is to be anything at all.”

Adrienne Drobnies- Adrienne is a poet and a scientist working at the BC Cancer Agency. Her work has appeared in Canadian literary magazines, including Scrivener, NeWest Review, Waves, Poetry Canada Review, and Poetry Toronto. She was a semi-finalist in the Concrete Wolf Chapbook Competition (Kingston, Washington, US) in 2007. Her poetry has been included in anthologies, including New Voices (Mosaic Press 1984), From Sinai to the Shtetl and Beyond: Where is Home for the Jewish Writer? (Hamilton Jewish Literary Festival 2009), emerge (Simon Fraser University Writer’s Studio 2009). One of her poems, “Arguing About Israel,” has appeared on the web site for Canadian Poets Against War. She has written a suite of poems, Randonnées, about living in Grenoble, France that was short-listed for the Canadian Broadcasting Company (CBC) literary award for poetry in 2009.

Leanna Balloffet-Leanna is a magical wizard who only comes out every 2000 years to eat barbecue and do laundry. Sometimes she makes paintings too. If you ask
her three questions, she probably will only answer one of them.

  1. Hey Jason,
Dig the shit out of your Apology. I read it to myself first.
The words are powerful, you seem shy in your delivery, shoot those words out from the gut they came from.
You words are to be reckoned with.
Please understand that twittering/facebook goes so against the nature of my being. I am not making a judgement on others who enjoy that avenue of communication. In this life I will only go so far as emailing as a last resort, I miss paper letters, thank God I have kept so many past interesting correspondence that are fossils of my past. Always, Bridget

I will navigate from this communication to check out New Flight, Amazing Pat Bartevian, and Welcome to the unwelcome,
